Medieval de Ourem
Branding for DOC wine (Denominação de Origem Controlada, a strictly defined geographical area and regulated production standards).
Brief: 
To develop a visual identity and its guidelines, to promote and champion a recently delineated DOC wine. 
Solution: 
Studio PLO crafted the Brand of MEDIEVAL DE OUREM, comprising of a logomark, a selection of typographic fonts, a colour palette, and subsequent printed formats.
Enriched with a strong historical heritage, the process of M.O. wine making is unique. Originated in the Medieval times by Cistercian monks, it consisted in tainting white wine with a small amount of red wine.
This results in an intricate, fruity, and conciliatory taste, aiming at an audience of young and literate professionals seeking experiences about their ancestry.
